Use of Did

Did use for only Negative and Question Sentences. And did use for if something happen in past.

For simple Sentences we use V^2nd form.

Did à I, You, We, They, He, She, Name + V^2nd

                             Did not + V^1st

E.g.

I took food.

You took food.

We took food.

They took food.

He took food.

She took food.

Ram took food.

Negative –

I did not take food.

You did not take food.

We did not take food.

They did not take food.

He did not take food.

She did not take food.

Ram did not take food.

Question –

Did I take food?

Did you take food?

Did we take food?

Did they take food?

Did he take food?

Did she take food?

Did Ram take food?
